coordinates on the map translated to Interstate 75, heading for Alligator Alley, filled with snakes, alligators, and Indian casinos, which did not seem at all like.

I was totally blown away. It was adequate and that's it. No one came on our floor to assist anyone the alarm and lights was going off people including elderly people was going down the stairs and no one to assist them. In conclusion I had never been to a Indian reservation Casino that was so disorganized and lack so much customer service skills. Please go to any other indian reservation resort or casino. He then left us and went into his office and we did not see him again. Alot of people went to the front desk to see the manager and he in return said to us he did not know what was going on and He did not know what to do. The casino is full of cigarette smoke. On top of that the tip was included in the bill and we had left a tip cash tip because we did not know the tip was included. People were all over the place, it wasn't like the place was closed and he wondered in. I mean no one came at any moment when we were outside to assist or answer any questions, hundreds of us were all there by ourselves. After a hour and a half we went back to the front desk and ask whats going on and they told us they still did not know that the alarms in the room stop making noise so we could go into our rooms. I had a small situation arise and Rudy Carbonell the manager made sure everything was fixed and was very professional. The casino has the hotel closest to the beginning of Alligator Alley Rte So it was a natural place to stop before beginning the ninety mile trek to Naples. The baseboards in the bathroom and lower door was dirty. They also charge you for WiFi where most hotels and resort do not charge an fee for that service, Please be aware once again!!!! When hundreds of us got down stairs in front of the building no staff was there to assist us or inform us what was going on or what to do. When the maintenance person came he did not speak no English at all so it was very hard to communicate, at this point now we fiquired out that he was trying to tell us the ac could not be fixed and now we had to go back down stairs and be moved to another room. I never in my life seen a restaurant manager arguing with customers. It made sense for me because of its location and that I was on a bicycle. But they said the alarm in the stairway was still making noise and they did not know what was the problem. And we had to wait 30 minutes until a escort came to take us to the restaurant and also had to wait again when we were done eating to be escorted back out. On our third night staying here the fire alarm goes off 3 am in the morning, a recording start playing telling everyone to evacuate and take the stairs. Like most casinos the slot machines take up most of the space. After that we went to sign up for a member card to play on the machines and the customer service people did not greet us or say hi, bye, enjoy your stay to us or anyone. That is one of the reason they do not want to leave a itemized bill, because it shows the tip is included, plus they over charge you for everything, the menu says one thing and they charge you more. There is a casual small restaurant near the slots on the ground floor. The manager of the Resturant was very rude and aruguing with us because he realized they do this to people all the time over charge them for things. Thanks for taking the time to read my comments. Sincerely Laurie M. I am very please with the Hotel, staff and Management. There is open undeveloped farm land mostly filled with garden nurseries and nothing else. We couldn't figure why they stopped him. Quick View.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} The rake in the poker room is terrible. Check in was a nightmare, line was out the door and staff didn't seem phased by it at all. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}It is not We have stopped at the Miccosukee every time we are either go to, or returning from vacation in the I am on a bicycle trip through the American South. It was midweek and a few poker games were going on in the poker parlor. They pull our itemized bill we were suppose to get at the table out of the garbage and we seen they over charged us for everything. You do not see that kind of commitment in the work place anymore. From what we have seen he goes above and beyond his duties as manager of the hotel. Very Unproffesional. Also if you have kids and need to go to the restaurant you need a escort to take you there because you have to walk through part of the casino. The first day we got here and went to our room the ac did not work, we had to call the front desk several times and after a hour when no one came we had to go to the front desk to inform them again. We will definitely be coming back and staying here when we come into town. The food in the hotel was "so-so". Reviewed February 14, Reviewed February 5, It's a small casino and hotel. Everyone that works here is very rude, they don't even greet you at all. The plates are dirty at the buffet and the food is cold. The croutons on the Cesar Salad were out of a bag. I felt really bad for the elderly people because they could barely walk down the stairs, I myself had my two little kids in my arms walking down the stairs. If you like slots though this is the place for you. He take such pride in his work. This place was the worst resort and casino I ever stayed in, please I do not recommend going here. The casino is on th Avenue which I estimate runs parallel with the Atlantic Ocean about twenty miles west of Miami Beach. Go to the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood for a better deal. No fire department, police or ambulance came to the resort. I reserved a room on Booking. The hotel rooms are very reasonable, particularly if you are a member of the "Club" which you can join for free. Now apparently the fire alarm and lights is only going off in the hotel and not in the casino section of the building, so the people in the casino had no idea what was going on because the casino is very noisy. I do not recommend anyone to stay here, this place is dirty and the staff is not friendly and lack a lot of customer service skills. They said no one ask for that, I never been to a Resturant in my life and did not get a bill showing what you ordered. My husband by anyone's account has the most non threatening appearance. After we were moved to another room we went to the restaurant in the resort late that night. The room was comfortable but old. We order food and paid the bill and left, I did not realized I did not get a itemized bill only a credit card bill to sign so we went back to ask for a itemized bill because we only ordered a few things and the bill was very high. I ate the grilled alligator. I will highly recommend the Miccosukee Resort to friends and colleagues. That was nice. I chose this place based on pictures on line and the rate. There did not appear to be table games. On the second floor they boast fine dining but I have my doubts. We were very disappointed in our room. Log in to get trip updates and message other travelers. Most Indian reservation casino and establishment are very well kept with good customer service. We have seen him clean and pick up after people have left messes in the Deli. The dealer likes to speak Spanish to some of the players. So we ask for a itemized bill to see the charges and they did not one to give it to us. Review Highlights. And if you do go please remember they rob you at the restarant, over charge you and do not give you a bill because most people that go there to eat are intoxicated and do not pay attention to there bill. We called front desk to ask what was going on and they said they have no clue what's going on. The bingo parlor is jammed. Thank you Rudy and staff for a very pleasant stay and accommodating us. We were there for the night and glad it wasn't longer. Date of experience: January Thank JamesNYC See all reviews. When we returned for the evening around pm, walking into the hotel, which is a stones throw from the casino floor, my daughters and I were ahead of my husband, security stopped him for no reason to question what his business was in the hotel at that time. This place is older. The casino upgraded me to a suite. I saw the collect 4 bucks out of a 7 buck pot! We won't ever stay there again. Head west down Rte 41 and soon you enter the Everglades. It tasted great but the presentation was a bit boring.
